Who are Strongdor?

Strongdor manufactures high quality bespoke steel doors at its 44,500 sq ft factory in Lancashire.

Amongst its core products are personnel doors, fire exits, security rated doors and acoustic doors.

We found Strongdor to be pushing boundaries with marketing already, but also happy to be challenged - a healthy balance for a website refresh project.

The challenge

There were two very different challenges with the website renewal project for Strongdor.

On one hand the previous website was unreliable and frustrating to use for Strongdor’s marketing team.

On the other there was a chance to sharpen up the design and structure to generate more leads.

We were eager to make sure that the project ended with successful outcomes on both fronts.

The solution

We ran a successful project together which included:

  • A review and refresh of existing brand assets before any design work was done.
  • A design sprint workshop where we mapped an improved website structure together.
  • A managed design process with sign off of each section of the new website in turn.
  • Build of a new search friendly website, including higher converting form designs.
  • A new enterprise-level codebase and CMS with a lifespan of 3+ years.
  • Search optimisation and managed launch, with post-launch analysis to assess performance

The new Strongdor website went live at www.strongdor.com in 2021.
